Seven Tenets Secret of a Successful Business

It is a presuppose expectation of all entrepreneurs to record optimum success possible during a given business cycle but ironically, the fact remain that those that fail along the way may not necessarily conceived failure intentionally. However, for every successful business owner there must be underline tenets observe by the owner to attain the success achieved. Hence, base on my practically observable experience, the following tenets if adopted by new entrant and existing business owners can lead one to obtain plausible successful result in the business world. 

The identified tenets include the following: 

1. Anchor your operation in line with your vision Vision is eternal, it is one of those powerful invisible sense of possibility that preceded any visible achievement attain by man. It is a source of internal light to lighten up the darkest moment of all activities. If your business is anchor on the vision you have hence you are better off because this will propelled you to broaden your objectives, see and perceived all challenges as a prospect, overcome challenges and channel new course for success attainment 

 2. Develop and adopt a SMART objectives Setting objectives help to set target and goals to be achieved. Hence, it is good to note that any business objective set that is not SMART is likely to result to business failure. In this case S which stand for specific i.e. specific about what is to be achieved M which stand for measurable : the objective must be tractable and measurable over a specific period A which stand for Achievable: business objectives set must have possibility of being achievable R which stand for relevant: it is good to note that the business objectives should be relevant to spear head the identifiable and listed target T which stand for time based implies that objective stated must have start and completion date

Have desire for success attainment The road to business success is never smooth and handsomely free from hitches and hiccups but one of the mechanisms that can help individual is to hold on to self desire for personal actualization. A good personal desire back up with unshakeable determination will go along way to make entrepreneur successful Back up one desire with unshakeable determination Desire may arise as a result of mere want but in the presence of multifarious problems that can shatter business success desire, the only thing that can help in this case is the ability of the entrepreneur to live above it challenges and create more prospect from that problem but this required undoubted selfless determination to succeed Sacrifice now to inherit the future 

 Although the benefit or dividend of entrepreneur is multidimensional i.e. it might be short, medium or long-term benefit but hence, expectant successful entrepreneur should not be too concern about the benefit of the moment but trading the sacrifice of the moment to harness bountiful benefit later in future. Most of intending successful entrepreneurs’ trade off the benefit of now to plan, build, rebuilds to fortify the future benefit

Learn from your mistakes and from experience of others to set and reset your business goals The trip to achieve success by entrepreneurs is a journey and the business highway is never too smooth without bumps i.e. in an effort of achieving business breakthrough some non avoided errors are committed either by one or similar colleagues in same or different line of business. Hence, what matters is not the error committed but the ability of the so called entrepreneurs to use the situation to create more opportunities and business prospect for self advancement Be careful of false mentor and unworkable business philosophy Adoption of other peoples strategies cannot be totally eradicated and invalidated in business but this must be carefully handled. 

As a result of series of challenges posed by entrepreneurial activities, many people take advantage of this to fathom series of philosophy, teaching, models and theories and several laws on the pretence of assisting their victims of solving their business challenges and snags but indirectly paving ways for their own economic attainment. Mentoring is part of learning process but be the best mentor for oneself is the most efficient. Hence, one need to understand that what works for others might not work in your own case. “It is good to note that most of these false mentors are not practicing entrepreneurs but business motivators and campaigner who lack basic practical knowledge of business intricacies” Fashioned out and develop your own appropriate methodology that could grant you measurable success in what you are doing is most important but avoidance of these false mentors and business philosophers but not practicing entrepreneurs would go along way in helping you realize your dreams as entrepreneurs 

In summary, expect the worse: do not be scare away from challenges, remember the more problems you face and solve the better you are as entrepreneurs.
