Hold on to your job, stay Hungry and stay Poor; Dilemma of a paid worker

Everybody in life regardless of what one does intend to survive and meet daily needs and subdue constant challenges of life. I remember my days in the university, one of my erudite lecturer told us that the real life is on the street, we as a young undergraduate students that time never seems to understand but instead focus all our attention on getting the best grade possible and expect being employed by famous companies.

However, as at that time, I don’t seems to understand what employment means but instead my thought is about getting all I needs in the world by working for others. Therefore, few years after college, I began to realized that what my lecturer said about life after school was eventually true by saying that the real school of taught is on the street which will be felt after graduation. I eventually believe is true by my little experience as a job applicant. As at now, my eye has open to what it really mean to be a job seeker, applicant, employee or a paid worker.

Armed with this experience, I ask myself several questions, what is the significance or essence of education?, is it all about going to school to study both necessary and unnecessary laws and theories?, get the best grade, hire by the best company if so lucky and live on the fate of others throughout your productive years as a paid worker
“Hence, an average college graduate expected to be hired by highest paid company with the hope to earn financial freedom and enhance their personal success”. Only few people get their dream job after graduation and majority of paid employee are in a job that they are never happy about but seems to have limited options as a result of self limitation and lack of personal discovery. It is nothing but the truth that only few people that is company labourers that are happy and fulfills with their present or past jobs.

My personal experience as a paid worker remind me that no matter how instrumental you are in an organization, you are still a paid, hired worker which is subject to be fired, live on ever adjusted paid salary or wages, sold your freedom, compel to do a particular task whether you like it or not, guided by decision of others, embrace and live with financial struggling and constant bargaining for increase salary, Realizing the dream of others leaving your career aspiration in jeopardy.

Spend your productive years in an unproductive place and retire as penury pensioner and expecting gratuity that may never come while you are still alive
With my few years of experience as paid worker, being a paid worker do not differ from restricting opportunities available to you in life. No matter how committed, instrumental and influential you are, you still remain a hired worker.
“You choose to be hired worker because you do not know your worth or value”
At a point in my career as a paid worker, I was mad at myself for taken such job that devalues my personality. This prompted me to take decision and risk that only few people can embrace. My dear reader, any job you hold on to that belittle you in all standard is better you let it go or else you are not far from dying in penury. Sincerely speaking, only few jobs can make you reach your goals in life. If you are not sure of this, take personal assessment of your life, measure your progress and the progress of your organization and see if your life reflects the progress of your organization over the years.

The effort, knowledge, skills, time, commitment and risk you invested to another person’s organization if you entrust this to your personal venture you will be amazed at the result you will get. Achieving personal success and career aspiration in life is all about you doing what pleases you, doing what you all always wanted to do, doing it at your convenient time and the way you think it is the best, doing it in the way you think is the best using your desired intuition

It is high time you embrace your personal liberty and set goals for your life. The organization where you work was established by someone who might not be smart, intelligent, skillful, hardworking, talented and valued oriented as you are but pick your weakness and put price on you to his own advantage. Check your life and the momentum of your career success and grade yourself to ascertain whether you are on the track or totally off the track.
“Life is not all about surviving and enduring but at least of fulfillment”. Are you are fulfills person? I want you to know that, what will make you is already inside you. Discover it and shore high to the peak of your career. Being hire worker will offer you nothing than; financial insecurity, constant cash-strapping,  frustration, job insecurity, fixed or time based salary bargaining , lack of fulfillment, inefficiency in the use of personal skills and talent, ineffective use of your active and productive years , threat of being sack and long lasting financial struggle and broke.

One thing that I want to leave you with is that if you fail to act now and you fail in life, creation will not forgive you. “Therefore, if life fails to give you what you want then give life what it deserved”. You have no excuse to fail but to succeed. However, if you eventually fail then your generation to come will not be happy with you. You offer your incoming folks nothing by dying as a struggling pensioner but leaving a great landmark entrepreneurial empire will be the best legacy you can live behind you.
Cheers
