The politics in Nigeria take

floats to the new merger party APC. The development take place yesterday shortly
after 5 (five) out of seven (7) decamped governors move from PDP to APC, 37
members of House of representatives elected on platform of the ruling party
defected to opposition All Progressive Congress (APC)
Although, the defection moved was

treacherous and a huge betrayal not only of the PDP but millions of voters who
worked timelessly hard for their election on the platform of PDP
A threat to defectors in PDP hold
that, the lawmakers, must know that section 68(1) (g) of the constitution of
the federal republic of Nigeria 1999(as Amended) states condition upon which a
member of the legislature can change platform. The section was quoted that; a
legislature who defected to another party will lose his seat, except he or she
is able to prove that his former party has been fractionalized
Note:
The courts of our land have
declared that the PDP is one and not bedeviled by any factions. Any member of
the national or state assemblies who therefore renounces his membership of a
UNITED PDP must be ready to face the consequence of defection in line with
provision of the constitution source said” PDP threaten Ezone gathered”

lower House on Thursday signified that
they are defecting from PDP to APC in a letter read on the floor of the lower
chamber by the House speaker, Honourable

defecting because of the division and fractionalization within the PDP in
tandem with section 68 sub section 1 (G) of the Nigerian constitution. Note,
the same section in which PDP threat was issued ……interesting
The

APC now become the majority in
the House of representative having 175 members ahead of PDPs having 171.the
remaining seats are shared by Labour party, Democratic peoples Party and All Progressive
Grand Alliance and Accord Party. It is the first time in PDP in its 14 years
rule that it would lose the majority number in any arm of the national arm of
the national assembly
In a related development, members
of Adamawa State Executive Councils:
commissioners, special Advisers, secretary to the state government have
formally defected from PDP to APC
This decision was taken after a
meeting which was held on Wednesday at the government house in Yola , the

collective one. He further explains that, “We, today unanimously decided to
follow Gov Nyako to APC for good” Ezone gathered.
Also, the No 2 citizen during
president Olusegun Obasanjo era, Atiku Abubakah , Ezone gather that, he is on
his way to dumped the ruling party in which he was the part of the foundational
member. Yesterday , December 18, he as part of moves to firm up his defection,
Atiku play host to the leadership of All
Progressive Congress (APC) including former Head of state, General Mohammadu

Seasons of defection to APC,
