If you are yet to obtain
your C of O (certificate of occupancy) cum land survey in any part of Ogun
state, this information will offer well to you. The government of Ogun state
recently announced that, acquisition of C of O in any part of the state now
cost Ninety five thousand naira only(#95,000).
This is a good
development unlike before when several thousand of naira are usually spent on
this exercise without any visible result
If you are already a
land occupant in Ogun state, this is an opportunity for you to acquire your
land legal right. The significant of having certificate of occupancy is that,
it gives you a legal right over your land hence land belong to you can’t be
taken from you illegally whether by individual or government .
Recently, several
houses were demolished by Ogun state government in an effort to expand some
major roads in the state, places like Berger, Akute, Olambe, Sango, Agbado
residents were all victims of the massive demolition. Hence, people whose
houses were demolished and lack C of O to lay claim of their land will forfeit
their compensation being paid because there is nothing to justify the need for
compensation

We also plead that this
amount should be subsidized for indigent’s citizens of the state.
